HOPE Club Helps the Homeless

Caring Kids Make Care Kits for the Holiday Season

HOPE Club spent its Thursday meeting preparing 50 care kits to pass out to homeless community members in the Sunnyslope area. This small group of good-hearted students collected donated items from friends and family and filled Ziploc bags with granola bars, deodorant, combs, socks, nail clippers, hand sanitizer, feminine hygiene products, Kleenex, sweet treats, and so much more. They even made a bag for our homeless furry friends complete with a new collar, a leash, a dog brush, and of course, some balls for playing catch! Nothing’s better than caring for your community. Keep it up, Vikings!
