In a decades-old tradition, our freshmen repainted the 150 ft tall S which adorns the mountain range over looking our community and school this week.

The tradition was initiated by the Student Council in 1954 who first arranged and painted the formation on the mountain. 

It stays alive now with the help of Student Council, Varsity Football, Fire Science, Sports Medicine and ROTC.

This year, 547 climbed the mountain to participate in the repainting of the mountain.
