Sunnyslope's Concert Choir and Vocal Ensemble traveled to California over spring break to participate in the WorldStrides Heritage Festival in Anaheim with choirs from across the country. The combined Festival Choir received a gold rating and received 2^nd place in the concert choir category. Vocal Ensemble received a gold rating and took first place in the chamber choir group. All together we received the sweepstakes trophy as the choir program with the highest combined scores. Vocal Ensemble received the Adjudicator's Award as an ensemble with an average score greater than 95 (they had 97.3 out of 100) They also received the outstanding choir award for the entire festival across all choirs and categories! It was pretty incredible.
