Sunnyslope’s Key Club Accumulates 1780 Community Service Hours!
Building Better Communities One Bear at a Time

Sunnyslope’s Key Club experienced a busy and exciting community service year. The club had over 65 registered students this year, racking up more than 1780 service hours!  While many service projects took place throughout the year, some of the most memorable included volunteering at the Desert Mission Food Bank, graffiti-busting around the Sunnyslope community, and donating 250 clothing items and 150 books to an orphanage in the Philippines. For their major project, the students raised enough money to stuff 50 bears at Build-a-Bear Workshop to donate to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. What a comfort these treasures will be for those little ones! We are proud of our students’ service to their community!
