Sunnyslope High School was established as part of the Glendale Union High School District in 1953. Along with being ranked among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report and Newsweek, Sunnsylope is part of the College Board’s 2013 National Advanced Placement District of the Year. The Arizona Department of Education has rated Sunnyslope an “A” school. The school enrolls nearly 2,000 students and continually boasts high marks in education, as well as extra-curricular activities. Sunnyslope High School is located in Phoenix near Dunlap Avenue and Central Avenue.
